Slinky Socks
There isn’t a single purl stitch in these socks! Really!
Silky socks
use a simple wrap and turn technique to make these socks fly off the
needles.
Finished Size: Infant Small through Adult Large
Yarn: 200-600 yards, fingering weight yarn. I find that a slowly striping sock yarn really shows the pattern to it’s
full advantage. My favorites for this pattern are Mini Mochi,
Zauberball, and Kureyon sock.
Needles and Notions: Size 2 needles for sock knitting or size needed to get gauge.
Gauge: 8 sts per inch
The pattern includes sizing for infant through Adult Large. Expect to use 50g of sock yarn for Infant and smaller child’s sizes, 100g of sock yarn for older children and most adults, and 150g for the largest sizes.
I've heard from lots of mothers who love this pattern for baby socks. The rolls on the legs really help them stay on baby feet.
