Phoebe Thrummed Mittens is a pattern 4 or 5 years in the making. I’ve been developing and testing this pattern in workshops and classes. It’s finally ready for prime time!

Phoebe features a doubled cuff, afterthought thumb, and smaller more petite thrums. However, there is no shortage of warmth or softness inside, while the size of the thrums may be smaller, there’s a whole lot of them making a less lumpy, more velvety interior.

Finished Size: Adult S (M, L) to fit a hand approx 7” (7.5”, 8”) around palm

Yarn: DK weight yarn, approx 200 (250, 300) yards

2oz of wool roving (not superwash)

Needles & Notions: Size 3 & 4 needles or size needed to get gauge and one size smaller; your choice of double points, magic loop, or 2 circs
