Still Spinning

Yep, still sick, still spinning. I don't know what it is about being sick. I just can't knit. Knitting requires too much coordinated thought & fine motor skills. Spinning is relaxing. Once I get the wheel moving nice and even & get my hands drafting it's almost hypnotic. The only thought is remembering to move the hook so the bobbin fills evenly.
I finished up the first 4oz of the Crown Mountain Farm roving that I received in the Spinning Roving Swap. I wasn't entirely in love with this colorway until it was plyed. This hank is a gift, but I'm itching to spin up the rest for myself.
The color is Twist & Shout, but to me it has a UFO feel to it (maybe Area 51?).

Oh that's pretty!

Feel better you hear!

That is a beautiful skein of yarn! The person who gets it is lucky, lucky, lucky. Hope you feel better soon!

That yarn is absolutely stunning! You did a fantastic job of it. :) Hope you feel better soon.
