I'm so tired. Today was absolutely fabulous & so much fun. Barber of Seville was so funny. I think that if you're interested in going to an Opera it is probably a very good first opera. It's only about 2 hours long, it's very funny, you'll recognize several of the pieces, and no... there are no large ladies wearing Viking hats.
Dinner was delicious, the company was entertaining, and I didn't fall off my shoes.
I even got a bit of knitting done in the car~
Nothing wrong with bringing a bit of Karma with you!
Okay, I have a bit more to say, but first I need to ask my family (that's you Mom) not to read the rest. No, it's not juicy or anything...
So, Tonight wasn't a date or anything, but I did meet my Mom's SO's son.
I feel so much better about the men that exist out there now. For a year younger than I, he was incredibly mature. He likes both the Arts & sports... he was courteous, a bit charming, and one of the most interesting people I've met in a long time.
That's something I hadn't seen in a guy in quite some time. It's just refreashing to know that people like that exist. (God knows I couldn't of ever drug Dave to the Opera...)

First: Did you get pics of yourself all dressed up? Did you get your hair done?
And second: There are plenty of decent, unattached, normal men out there. It might seem like they're hiding, but don't ever settle for less -- you deserve the best!
Glad you had fun!

Huh. I wonder if it will stripe in the cuff? Do you have small feet? The color is still really fun!
