The swap date for the Funky Scarf Swap is coming up next week, so Saturday on the way to the Tigers game I made myself focus & finish a scarf.

I used Solo from OnLine. This is one of the wide ribbon scarves that ruffles when you knit it. My big twist was I knit 2 rows with red then 2 rows with brown. Very simple, very effective, very funky!

I cast on 5 stitches, knit in garter, carried the colors up the side (they actually form a spiral around the scarf) & it only took one ball of each color.

My pal said she like Georgia O'Keefe's Poppy, & in real life the colors of the scarf evoke the colors of the painting. Now I'm all excited to send it out & see if she likes it~
